South Plains Food Bank 806-763-3003 Services: -Case Navigator Assistance- assistance applying for gov. programs (Snap, Tanf, etc.) -Kids Café- provides free snacks and meals to low-income families -Mobile Food Pantry- fill out online application -Grub Program- an education and employment program that teaches horticulture, nutrition, money management and life skills to youth. -Nutrition and Wellness classes- cooking demo, food budget classes, diabetic management -Senior Box Program- is a monthly box of food provided to low-income seniors 60 years of age or older *It takes 24-48 hours for food bank to process the applications Qualifications or Requirements: > Must apply online for all services >Must fall under federal guidelines of a low-income household >Driver’s License or ID needed for application process >If you do not have an ID: a Soc. Sec card, Birth Certificate or bill with applicants’ name will suffice

Catholic Charities 806-765-8475 Services: -Direct client assistance program- helps with utilities, food, clothing, hygiene, eye exams, glasses and prescription assistance. Also assists those 60 years or older with dentures, prescriptions, hearing aids and eye glasses Qualifications and Doc Requirements: >ID’s for all in household >Soc. The Parenting Cottage 806-795-7552 Services: -Home visitation Program- Age specific parenting support. Resource referrals to assist families. Developmental screening for your child. -Community Parenting Classes- Qualifies as mandated parenting requirements by the courts. *Limited class size. Goodwill Job Training 806-744-8419 Services: -Resource Center- Training and job search assistance, computer skills classes in all levels, and employment development training. -Virtual Classes and Testing- Online tools to evaluate skill levels in Microsoft Office programs. Family Counseling Services 806-747-3488 Services: -Counseling- Individual, Couples, Family, Substance Abuse, Anger Management, Domestic Violence (men and women) *Open by appointment. (Meaning the counselors are only in the facility if they have appointments, otherwise they are not in the building) Qualifications or Requirements: >Accepts FirstCare, Amerigroup, and Superior Medicaid insurances >Has sliding scale fee >No Appointment needed for Group session, show up early to register, $20 per session

Voice of Hope 806-763-7273 Services: -Crisis hotline- Available free of charge to victims of sexual assault, offering help and hope. -24 hour medical accompaniment- Survivors receive a forensic sexual assault medical exam with an advocate for accompaniment. Survivors receive a care-package and clothing if needed. -Counseling- Therapy and support groups for the survivors and non offending affected loved ones. *All services are free of charge. Qualifications and Requirements: >Must be a sexual violence survivor (no matter how long ago the assault took place)

Kingdom Come Ministries 806-544-9464 Service: -After-school bible study and activities- Games, praise and worship services for elementary aged children. Takes place at Brown Elementary from 3:30p.m.-4:30p.m. -Mobile food pantry-free snack bags available. Free fod boxes available on a case-by-case basis. -Utilities and Rental assistance- Financial assistance with rental and utility bill, on a case-by-case basis. Qualifications or Requirements: >A child must live in the home in order to receive this assistance >Referal from school, or case worker preferred.

Methodist Children's Home 806-792-0099 Services: -GAP Program- Assists grandparents and other relatives raising children in place of absent parents with community resources, support groups, case management, and legal assistance. -Parent Education- Educates families with positive parenting skills. -Transition Services- Assists Foster care Graduates in the transition into adulthood. -Family Solutions- Connects families to resources in the community. Qualifications or Requirements: >All services are free of charge >Family Solutions Program requires at least 1 child between ages 0-14 years of age to reside in the home. >Must live within a 45-mile radius of a MCH in order to receive services
