South Plains Food Bank 806-763-3003 https://www.spfb.org/ Services: -Case Navigator Assistance- assistance applying for gov. programs (Snap, Tanf, etc.) -Kids Café- provides free snacks and meals to low-income families -Mobile Food Pantry- fill out online application https://www.spfb.org/get-help/ -Grub Program- an education and employment program that teaches horticulture, nutrition, money management and life skills to youth. -Nutrition and Wellness classes- cooking demo, food budget classes, diabetic management -Senior Box Program- is a monthly box of food provided to low-income seniors 60 years of age or older *It takes 24-48 hours for food bank to process the applications Qualifications or Requirements: > Must apply online for all services >Must fall under federal guidelines of a low-income household >Driver’s License or ID needed for application process >If you do not have an ID: a Soc. Also assists those 60 years or older with dentures, prescriptions, hearing aids and eye glasses Qualifications and Doc Requirements: >ID’s for all in household >Soc. Voice of Hope 806-763-7273 https://voiceofhopetexas.org/ Services: -Crisis hotline- Available free of charge to victims of sexual assault, offering help and hope. -24 hour medical accompaniment- Survivors receive a forensic sexual assault medical exam with an advocate for accompaniment. Survivors receive a care-package and clothing if needed. -Counseling- Therapy and support groups for the survivors and non offending affected loved ones. *All services are free of charge.
